Veterans in Fairbanks, North Pole and the surrounding Interior can receive acupuncture through VA Community Care with an approved referral.
The process starts with a referral from your VA primary care provider or care team. Once the referral is processed, it is sent to Glacier Acupuncture and we will contact you about scheduling and next steps. After your first treatment date is established, the VA finalizes the authorization for care.
VA acupuncture authorizations include a specific number of approved visits and a period of time in which those visits can be used. Authorized visits are billed through VA Community Care rather than directly to the Veteran.
